Sea within a sea

Last weekend, we went to Redondo Beach to eat freshly steamed crabs and clams. My favorite! You should see me eat seafood because I really tear it up. I love seafood. The weather was perfect. Not hot and not cold. Growing up in LA, it was a family tradition to go eat crab at Redondo Beach. I've been going since I was a toddler. Before the renovations, people were allowed to picnic on the rocks. We have really old photos of us doing that. Sadly, our flip flops or sunglasses would fall through some cracks and end up in the sea. They have the best arcade on the pier filled with many old memories. It still looks pretty much the same, except for the addition of Guitar Hero. Didn't play any games, but did a walk through. We rode the speedboat. I love riding the speedboat because that's the farthest I've ever been on sea (having never been on a cruise or anything). It's overwhelming and beautiful to see the wide ocean. You think ants are small, but I feel like an ant whenever I go see the ocean. But it's so sparkling and so beautiful. I guess I am a total LA girl because I love the smell of the salty sea air.
