Your costume's made of twine, now you're forgetting all of your lines
Yesterday I went to the opening night reception for the 17th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition at FIDM. For those of you who didn't know, yes, I am a FIDM alum. I've been going to this exhibit every year since I was a student there and it never ceases to excite me. Basically, you get to see the actual costumes from different films from the last year, including all the ones nominated for an Oscar in Best Costume Design. The opening reception was tons of fun. It was super crowded with lots of fabulous people. They had a drive-in theme going on. The highlight of the night was meeting Huell Howser and Mona May. I was super overwhelmed by the end of the night. The exhibition is open to the public from Jan 28 through Mar 29. Check out FIDM.com for more info.
