If I should call you up, invest a dime

When is the last time you've used a payphone? Remember collect calls? I remember when I was about 8 years old, during vacation, I would follow my dad to work in the evening. I basically grew up listening to oldies, doowop, motown. My dad especially loved music. The oldies radio station didn't play "Wishing and Hoping" that much. When my dad was working, I would go to the nearest pay phone booth and call the radio station to request Dusty Springfield's "Wishing and Hoping", If I was lucky, I'd hear it on the drive home. And I was able to call the radio station because it was a toll free number. I didn't need a dime to have the radio station play my favorite song when I was a kid. Sure, some payphones are really gross and dirty, but I think most are charming and slowly becoming extinct.
