Paint me violet and shake the red out

I finished this last night. I did the first rough sketch several months ago. I've been wanting to work on stuff but my studio desk was such a mess and I didn't want to touch it. I was busy cooking. I made the most delicious home-made stuffing (and I'm not talking about no StoveTop). This one was difficult. It actually started out as a girl that was more bubbly and fun. She was wearing a completely different outfit. But lately, I've been listening to "Small Parts" by The Oohlas and I loved that song so much, I tried to create the mood through this girl. I have a habit of listening to one song on repeat when I am inspired by the song and I think it captures to mood of what I want to get out onto the paper.

My mashed potatoes and stuffing were excellent if I do say so myself. But my hands still smell like onions.

Here is my second "WHAT I WORE" all started because of someone's comment to me that I dress very "hot topic" and I absolutely don't. Not that there's anything wrong with Hot Topic, I do buy things there, but no, my wardrobe isn't all from there at all. This one is for Friday. I am obsessed with the trailer for Factory Girl so I thought I'd try to channel Edie.
