Good day sunshine

I won't make this long. Looking back, 2008 was filled with so many highs and lows. A lot of amazing things happened, it was filled with lots of hard work, special memories I will cherish forever, and also one of the greatest sadness I have ever known so far. You probably know what I'm talking about. That horrible accident that happened right outside work and killed 2 and seriously injured 1 of my coworkers. That horrible morning I saw it on the news. Then having to deal with walking by the spot where it happened almost everyday. Crying almost everyday at my desk or in the bathroom at work. It was my first time dealing with such sudden deaths. They were beautiful people, same age as me, sharing the same dream of pursuing fashion design, and the thing I liked most about them was that, though this industry makes you jaded, they seemed to always be smiling and living their lives to the fullest, unfazed by the dirty tricks of the world. Time will pass, but I will never forget. And, in better news, the one that survived is back at work! It's a true miracle and we are so happy he stayed strong and pulled through.

I've already made resolutions for the new year. And it's going to take a lot of hard work, but I want to make a few things happen for sure. So, I wish everybody a happy new year that's filled with love, health, wealth, and goodness. Thanks for checking out my blog!
