Didn't someone tell you it's raining 'cause you forgot your jacket on the second floor

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall back asleep for hours (as usual). But it was pleasant to hear the rain falling outside. It continued to rain on my way to work. Saturday I went to Unique LA, pics and recap coming soon. Sunday, I woke up super early to beat the crowds and just get my Christmas shopping done. The weather was gorgeous this weekend. Windy, chilly, crisp, and sunny. Finally feels like Christmas. In other news, I've been in a funk lately, so to keep my mind off things, I re-read The Catcher in the Rye. I read it eons ago but I was too young. When I read it last week, I felt a total connection with it. If you want to get an idea of what type of person I am, I'd suggest you read that book because I am totally Holden Caulfield and my sister agrees. I really am. I loved that book. Absolutely loved it. Can't describe it in words, you'd have to read it to know why it's so special, every little detail of it. It killed me. Anyways, since it's raining and all, here is a "rainy day" playlist. Btw, I hate it when stupid radio stations play "I can see clearly now the rain is gone.." after it stops raining. It's so corny. I hate that, but they always do it.

"Why Does It Always Rain on me" - Travis
"Listen to the Rhythm of the Falling Rain" - The Cascades
