The days go by oh so slow

This past Saturday, I went to the Unique LA shopping event at the California Market Center, featuring all local indie artists and designers. Two of my friends had booths there so we paid them a visit. It was better than I expected, and obviously, you can see by the number of pics I took, that I was really inspired. I love crafty, artsy people. So refreshing. I need to get back to making things, too. Always exhausted from work. Anyways, I got my start in the fashion industry back when I just turned 18 years old, working as a showroom intern at the CMC! I continued to work there during busy seasons for several years throughout college. I used to always take the bus home. I steamed countless racks of clothes, and did all that glamorous intern stuff. I like the Mart a lot. Showrooms are so much prettier than design offices. But I could never go into sales, it was good to learn that side of the business, though. You need to understand the whole picture in this industry.
