Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition

Last weekend, I attended the Opening Reception for the 21st Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, my alma mater.  It was a chilly night, but thank goodness for heat lamps!  As always, this exhibit is so awesome because you get to see all the actual costumes that were used in the films, including Oscar-nominated ones, like Lincoln, Les Miserables, and Snow White and the Huntsman.  Costume Design is such a magical, hard-working industry.  Also, the concept boards for Paranorman got me inspired again.  It was a lovely evening with delicious food.  The exhibit is also open to the public, check out www.fidm.com for more info.
